we no longer play IL:2 1946!


We are 5 Saffel of JG27 a virtual fighter squadron, we fly the bf109 exclusively. we also have a Stuka unit and are looking into also recruiting some Bf110 heavy fighters aswell as some He111's.

We are looking for fighter pilots and some heavy fighter pilots aswell as some experienced He111 drivers.


We are looking for mature members aged 18+ primarily from Europe who enjoy playing online competively in co-ops and dog fights aswell as clan/unit matches/scrims.

We fly when ever we can but Saturdays 20:00 GMT is our group weekly session. We also have an Optional flying session on wednesdays at 20:00 GMT. We are also on WoP spits vs109's anytime Friday.

Currently Using Ventrilio to speak over net which is up and running and all members are invited to come on and have a good time if were flying or not!

We are recruiting all skill levels! We fly full switch settings and always with closed cockpits! Sometimes we use minimap path if the map is very bland, for example desert.

Last Friday (4th june 2010) we flew a friendly Co-op against Chuffys Flying Circus! Allot of fun was had by all and CFC were great hosts. This was the first time we'd flown together as JG27 and the result was a draw. We hit the target but it wasnt destroyed. Heavy losses were taken on bothsides as both units gave as good as they got.

The friendly match was a great success and I think Blitzadler JG27 showed what good characters we have amongst us. I was very pleased with the overall performance of every pilot. CFC had a good time and so did JG27.

Well, it's Tuesday, and we all know what that means................BUMP!

LoL, seriously though, we are still recruiting. We have added several new pilots, and we need even more. So if you have the urge to fly with a group of people who enjoy IL2 and being a team player, JG27 is your squadron!!!

10 out of 12 Missions are ready to fly / play test in our up and comming Nord Afrika campaign!

Nord Afrika Campaign is ready and is scheduled to start on the 29th of August!

We will be flying against Chuffys Flying Circus!
