Some high speed attacks in "Zeke vs Wildcat" server. The last one was from 1vs1 fight online.
I always keep my SA high before and after the attack.

Another one video using high speed attacks and deflection shooting. It's starting to be boring this energy game:(

Good question m8. I have only an old 17 monitor and a cheap graphic card.
Usually i find my tergets seeing their motion not the dot!
If u need, i can send u some tracks to help u, u can see far more better than in youtube. But i warning u. BoomZoom is a VERY BORRING TACTIC!

Usually u must be at 6000m before you get the white smoke from your wings. At this alt u cannot see at low level. So if the area around u is clear u have to dive and patrol at high speed at 3.000- 4000m and see isf there are enemies lower from u.
But remember that we play a game, we are not real pilots and there is not fun this way. U have to proove nothing. The best is to fly lower and have fun.
If u think that there is not hope for the slower and lower fighter this track may change your opinion. Is from "Henkie" and he is the best i think:

It was not wise to spend so much time, coz there were alot of enemies around, i was lucky!

Look, its not easy. It is very hard.
Next time, try to patrol climbing slightly and banking from the left, and after few seconds to the right. Try to make a very long circle over the area. If u have speed, maybe you will see him behind u at a long distance. Now you need a "rop and dop" maneuver. Is better to have a wingman to fly "energy" tactics.
There are squads that use these tactics and one of them is "78thfg". I think u can find 78thfg_Doodle and ask him to teach u. He is at Hyperlobby at "BattleofBritain" or "Spit vs 109" servers. I have try to go there but latelly i dont play IL2 Of cource there are alot of great energy fighters to these servers. Even if u r one of the best is difficult to survive but remember: We are a big company (and virtual friends -first of all) and we play to have fun!
Let me find 1-2 tracks to send u, ok?

That is more how I fly. It felt like I was watching a track of me flying that Spit. But then naturally I would get shot down by the second enemy in the area.
I have always wanted to find some other pilot to practice the Thach Weave with, so as to prevent that problem.

Look man, your resolution is too high, that's why you cannot find your opponent! I have a 17'' monitor and 1024x768 only. I think 13'' monitor is too small. But most of the players use 1024x768 even if they have 19 or 22'' monitor. Try lower res.
This video of spit is NOT a turning fight. Is a "close energy fight". I have spend alot of time on him and this was not wise.
Energy is not Boom-Zoom only. Boom-Zoom is just a part of "energy tactics". There are tactics and tips of manage your energy in a close dogfight in a way that your opponrent cannot put his guns on you. When i speak about that, i remember "Shaw's book" and the tactics of f-16 against better turning planes in a close dogfight using guns and rear missiles only: using high and low "yoyo's" in "nose to tail" only. U can manage your energy without go to vertical too.

Ok m8 i have send you 5 tracks, see your PM box.
"vinny Boom n Zoom" (against 4 opponents)
"climbing spiral" 1 and 2 (how to execute this maneuver)
"energy to angles" (how to convert energy advadage to turning fight)
"1 vs 16 aces" (stay low and eliminate your opponents adv if they try to follow you)
"Vinny Boom n Zoom" and "energy to angles" are real online fights. (4.10.1m) I think in 4.11 u cannot see the track the right way. Try to install a copy of IL2 and use 4.10.1m (unzip them first).
And remember is better to find a more experienced fighter if he want to teach you.
