Post subject: Luftwaffe Day Video - Fw-190A-5 and Bf-109E-3

I figured this should just be its own thread. Here is video I shot this last Saturday at Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection fly day. It was Luftwaffe Day and they flew the only airworthy Focke-Wulf 190 A-5 and one of only two Bf-109E-3s.
Enjoy the beautiful sound of these two amazing aircraft and their original BMW and Daimler-Benz engines!

Enjoy,
Jason

Awesome vid, thanks for posting!
This is just my personal taste of course but it seems to me that, generally speaking, when compared together radials sound better when idling but inlines are more tuneful when in flight (with the exception of the Centaurus which sounds awesome at any time).

I almost flew up there just for that! Wife gave me a stiff drink and talked me out of it though, sadly.

Thank you, everyone! I'm really glad you all enjoyed the video, and that it turned out OK in the long run. As I'm sure you could understand, I was pretty.... ticked, for lack of a better word, when I came to realize my 500mm lens STOPPED WORKING about 30 minutes before these two took to the air.
As much as I like photographing these airplanes, it's GREAT to hear the sound!
So, until I get the money to fix the lens, you can bet I'll be recording a lot more videos for the rest of the warbird season. Hope that's OK.
Up next, Battle of Britain Day on the 20th featuring the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IXe, Mk. Vc, and Bf-109E-3.

Im very glad you enjoy the videos. I know it isn't the same as being there, but I hope it at least is a close second.
