When I start JSGME and there are no options to select or turn off anything. IL2 then starts out with Ultra Pak 2.01 and I can't switch back to vanilla 4.09.

There are no mods enabled when you close out of the JSGME, right? If so, all you need to do to get 4.09 is to enable it in the JSGME, close out, and start up Il-2.
