My torpedoes keep blowing...

Tafkat, I do have the same model of Betty you list, but my drop-down menu simply does not include the "1 x Type 91 (late) torpedo" that your game seems to include. I just checked it and confirmed: I don't have this option listed. All I have listed is "1 x Type 91 torpedo". As I wrote, I am runing V.4.10m. I suspect the same absence applies to every single other of the torpedoes you listed originally.
If anyone has an idea of why Tafkat has torpedoes that I don't, please share.

In the meantime I have been playing a bit with a Betty, flying ridiculously low and slow, sometimes succeeding in not having the torpedo disintegrate upon entering the water... as people suggest here, practice is probably what I need now.

Is there any way to select ripple fire or firing the complete rocket load at once? For the record, I'm using an unmodded version 4.10. |

There's at least two new QMB maps available right now as I write this: Online4Summer (a very mountainous map) and Italy Online. Neither of those have ships as targets; mostly because there's no "ship" target available. When I wrote the Italy Online missions, I was going to add a mission with ships, but the player won't know if the mission will have ship targets or not because there's no briefings for the QMB missions. You can find both QMB packs in the download section.
I'm re-working the Online4Summer missions right now... my map template was crappy, so I'm recreating the whole batch. As far as ship destroying missions go, you should look around the download section for missions involving naval targets... there's bound to be some very good ones.

I have spent some time trying to locate this patch 4.10.1 for download and did not succeed... Can anyone please help me locate it? I'd like to try the improved (late) torpedoes.

I realize this thread is a bit old, but I'd like to suggest setting the AI to do torpedo runs and watching the playback. You can learn how to do it right that way since the AI seems to be good. I set up some B5Ns the other day and it was really fun to watch.
