I Read on the AVwebFlash that a Predator B landed at Oshkosh in preparation for this years Airshow. This is the first time a Predator has ever landed at a civilian airport. The aircraft is operated by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) The Predator B has a top speed of 240 kts and is able to fly up to 50,000 feet for 30 hours. See the video(HERE)Scroll to the bottom of the page. Notice where the front tire is as he is taxing in and stops! Enjoy,, Rich Cool

I am very surprised that this a/c would show up at a civilian show, especially such a large one. I would have thought that security concerns would have prevailed, not to mention safety issues. (Not that it is not safe to fly, just that ANY negative incident at such an event would have had disastrous publicity that might greatly impede this program. Why take the risk? A crash on the border or in Afghan would only warrant a small note on page 8.)
