My Mother has been in the hospital three times this year, for a serious illness. When I'm not at work I have been visiting with her unless she's in treatments. I can't seem to get a couple hours together to get things together and upload; it's been a rare feat to even do laundry the last five weeks.

She finally is getting some relatively good news about her reaction to her treatments and medication and at least on paper, she's doing incredibly well (her kidneys stopped working in late January, and they are now actually working on their own, without dialysis every other day). Dad's no youngster and trying to do everything, which of course won't do. I should have enough free time soon to get the skins out, with a little Photoshop announcement as usual, etc

I'm glad to hear your mother is improving. That's great news.

Never apologize to us for not giving us "kids" what we want. You know us, we'll throw a tantrum at the slightest shift in the wind. It's not like you are withholding something just because you want to. Your family comes first, last and always.

Not having your excellent skins will be a loss to the community but not one we cannot overcome. You face a potential greater personal loss and that has to be the highest priority.

If you can get us the skins great. If it takes 6 months, no big deal. If not at all, I don't think the IL-2 Community will collapse. We will be here when you are again ready, willing and able to share your talents with us.

Yes Chris, we care. It's only that our time expectations have been stretched out so long over the years with years between upgrades. Keep up the good work. I don't do skins, so I can't help.

Chris, happy to hear that your mother is doing better. It is good that you are helping your father to take care of things. Speaking from personal experience (having cared for two different elders through hospice and passing away), please, remember to set aside a little time for yourself each day, even if it is only 5-30 minutes. It is not being selfish, it is being practical. Too many folks who care for others do so at the expense of their own health and this will save your health and sanity.

As Beebop said, I am sure that even through the tantrums, we in the IL2 community will survive even though we will miss your skins. But family always comes first and we are happy with what you have shared with us.
