I made the correction of the skin, according to a color photo I found, taken from the film about the P-61. Thanks Duggy (member of SAS Forum), for the help in the correction of nose art. Also I changed the color of the symbol of unity, and include the red stripe on his nose which was not included in the previous skin. The number of tail was also modified. On the left, contained only the symbol of unity and the inscriptions with the name of the pilot and crew.

R/O: Lt. Bruce K. Leford. Ie-Shima, Ryukyu Islands, China Sea. August 1945.

Hello _Harpia_Mafra55_

If tried all these options in my UP3 RC4 #UP# folder
Step 1:Download and Unzip properly
Step 2:Place correct folder in your MODS folder
Step 3:Add lines to weapons_ru and plane_ru files (Not Essential)
Step 4:Add lines to air.ini
Step 5:Check for latest Buttons file and instal if needed
Step 6:Make a new Skinfolder and name it correctly (Not Essential)

Also updated my air.ini file and installed Diff_FM_Mod in my STD folder. I know I'm doing something wrong but can't figure out what Evil or Very Mad .
Is it possible for anyone to make a screenshot of his working #UP# folder with some MOD aircraft installed so I can see where everything belongs?

Please help me out I'm desperate to fly the P-61 and B-26

Hello DjeeDjee,

Sometimes it's just a small detail that makes the installation of a new aircraft problematic. So, if you have already checked this, please disregard. However, in your UP folder (#DBW-Folder in may case, as I am on DBW 1.71), make sure that the aircraft folders are installed at the proper file depth. The proper file depth is: Il2 Sturmovik 1946/#DBW (or #UP for you)/air_P-61 101tfs 2nd release. This last folder contains class files and two other folders, "3do" and "cod".
When I extracted the P-61 download, the unzipped folder was "air_P-61 101tfs 2nd release". It contains another folder of the same name. It is this second folder that needs to be placed inside your #UP folder. If you simply placed the unzipped folder into you /UP folder as is, it will be at the wrong file depth.

Hope this helps,

RB

-#up# mod is disable

#up# mod enable.

if -#up# rename to #up#

Salut,
You guys won't believe this, after months of frustration how to get my UP folder to work I found out why, thru a hint of _Harpia_Mafra55_ . Thanks for help me notice the " - " Idea
Not my UP folder but my DiffFM folder had the - in front Embarassed , and so the game keeps crashing at 60%.
Huraaaaaa my planes fly now, P-61, B-26 and also the Dutch G1.
Thanks for all the help now it's time to solve the next problem.

Why do the MOD planes not show up as static planes in FMB, normaly all planes do?
Again a nice puzzle.

Grtz DjeeDjee
