Hi,

I've burnt all of the patches I need to get up to v4.10 onto disc. When I've installed them onto my gaming setup, will I notice any great differences, or is it all really subtle?

Many thanks

Clive

No as far as I am concerned, you get an entire new game and experience.
Especially the 4.11 6DOF helps a lot.
I make missions in 4.08 and then play them again in 4.11, it's an entire different experience.

It really is almost like a completely new sim moving from 4.7 to 4.11. the variable weather and the low light stuff is really killer.

I have been drooling over some of these mod packs, I'm thinking when the next one comes out I am going to try running UP3/4 or whatever they call it.

always just ran the latest stock version but I have been seeing some of this Korean and Vietnam war era stuff one here, and it looks freaking sweeet

yeah I am hoping one of the mod packs will be updated to work with 4.11 or maybe when 4.12 comes out. I am very happy with 4.11 but I think I may be missing out on a lot of action not being on the "Mod Train"

been reading about modding the game and I must say it looks and sounds really tricky. never had any trouble installing third party campaigns, but, tweaking your game with the mods seems/ sounds wayy more complicated

I found that going from v4.07 to 4.08 has bearly any differences apart from really minor bugs and some cockpit damage models.
