I want to ask, when we fly and use radar, the icons (white planes) on the map are all friendly contacts or mixed?

Radar? No planes in the stock game that has radar. Not that I have noticed anyway! Do you mean the map or do you have some mod containing aircraft with radar?
If you mean the map the white plane is your aircraft, blue are axis and red allied planes.

Hmmm
Just came from the FMB after trying to get the FOW thing to work, with no luck.
It seems when I engage the FOW mode in the difficulty settings, It causes an error when I attempt to launch. I select a bf109 I placed in the mission, but when I click FLY, it says "Aircraft not created". I tried a bunch of times and switched flights and so on, with no luck. So, I still can't confirm if the aircraft is white or not in FOW.

Have you tried to place the flyable plane first before turning on the FOW?

Would be nice to have some aircraft with radar though. Like the Bf.110 nightfighter versions. Or the Black Widow.
Well, one can always dream!

I speak about Ultrapack 3 and full real settings (No icons on the map). But when the server have radar active we can see contacts on the map (white planes). If we bomb the enemy radar, enemies cannot see contacts on the map at all.

In that case i suppose you are not supposed to be able to see the diffrence. Radar during the second world war was very crude compared to modern day radar. The could only see contacts on the radar screens, not witch side they belonged to. To identify a contact you either hade to get eyes on it and identify the aircraft that way or rule it out by knowing the positions of your own air units. Those that are not your own is probably the enemy.
Thats why a good command and control system was so important!

Hi Verdun,
Not to get all trainspotter on you, but IFF was used by the RAF, Luft and probably the US (and maybe others) from early on during WW2 so you could get a reasonable idea of who's side the radar contact was on. Not perfect etc but still useful. Here's a list of various systems in case not seen before that includes IFF systems
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/..._equipment
Ive had a play with the radar concept in IL2 using ships as 'radars' and its OK - not ideal but potentially useful for simulating a rudimentary GCI setup maybe.
