USAAF: Your mission...defend Y-29 and live to fight another day. Luftwaffe: Destroy as much as you can...then run!

Unternehmen Bodenplatte heralded the last great air battle against 16 Allied air bases in Belgium, the Netherlands and France…Y-29 was just one story on a day fill with death…the fight lasted for only 45 minutes…but that was enough time for the birth of a legend.

Fly the mission and post your screenshots in this thread.

A hard day to survive

... at least flying for the Luftwaffe! Maybe I should try a P-51? Fun and challenging, though.

The right Stuff

The right setting, the right skins, the right stuff...just perfect...and far better than any "Bodenplatte" Mission I've flown so far. Especially Revolver's Bf-109 and Emel's Mustang Skins adding lots in creating a "right" atmosphere...rightly five stars...
Just one suggestion: far as i know nobody did a really good "Stalingrad/Pitomnik Relief Mission by JG 3" yet, concerning the desperate attempt of just one staffel of JG 3 trying to protect in and outgoing Ju 52's against the approaching Russian forces... Laughing

Good Clean Fun !!!

Would have liked to have a Ground Start as a P-51 Pilot but still very challenging. Took me my third try to not get shot down.

Good Times and Thanks !!!
