It tells of individuals decisions to join the RAF for Short Service Commissions, join because they rather the Air Force than the Army. Join because of a love for flying, or really, for many different and personal reasons. They came from all walks of life, the farm, the office, labourers or government employees. All volunteers.

These may be used for the website header, if there is sufficient interest we will get them printed on T shirts and possibly other merchandise which will be available for sale through M4T. The competition will run throughout August. The logos & captions will be judged seperately, should reflect what M4T is all about and have an IL-2 theme. The prizes will be T shirts printed with the winning entries. Q&A and entries in the forums

News: Support The Bomber Command Memorial Appeal
Posted by Gamekeeper / Wed Jul 23, 2008 18:35:28 / (141 reads) Tens of thousands of airmen who died during the RAF bombing campaign against Germany in the Second World War should be honoured with a permanent national memorial, survivors and campaigners have launched a drive to build a monument to the 54,378 men of Bomber Command who died on raids to cripple Germany's industry.
